The call for projects launched by Rouget de Lisle brand was simple. It consisted of the realization of illustrations one representing a wolf and the second one a fish. The style was not imposed and gave free rein to the creativity of the participants. The participants proposed their illustrations in order to win a contract for 12 illustrations for the brand’s new beer labels.
A call for proposal
Creating two illustrations for a new branding of beer's stickers
Handmade illustrations
realization of the fish and the wolf
For this project, I decided to create two handmade illustrations in a traditional style in order to reflect the authenticity and craftsmanship of the brand. The two illustrations were made with Indian ink and then digitized and colored by computer. Working both in a traditional and modern way was for me a good way to reflect the values of the brand while creating an atmosphere of work and craftsmanship.
